It will foster cooperation in fields ranging from financial services, aviation, transportation and logistics to information and communications technology.Therefore, the central government requires the citys FTZ to play a vital role in the opening up and development of inland China.According to a previous proposal, Chongqing FTZ, with a coverage of 120 square kilometers, comprises three parts-Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing Logistics City and Chongqing Microelectronics Park.Liangjing New Area, established in 2010, is the third national development and opening zone in China-and the first in the inland-approved by the State Council, after Shanghai Pudong New Area and Tianjin Binhai New Area.”We should combine the Sino-Singapore program with the FTZ project so that we can achieve the real free flow in trade, human resources and commodities,” said Tang Zongwei, deputy director of the Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee.According to its FTZ blueprint, Chongqing will build itself into a pilot zone of inland free trade with convenient investment and trade environment, efficient supervision and complete finance services.0Related StoriesShanghai FTZ boosts inbound and outbound investmentPilot FTZs experiences are spreadingCompanies benefit from Lujiazuis inclusion into Shanghai FTZSichuans FTZ offers amenities to new businessesUrumqi FTZ informatization engineering nears completionPhotoThe worlds top 10 energy-efficient economiesHumanoid robots shine at the World Robot Exhibition 2016Intelligent vehicle innovation club in NE ChinaBrick miniature of ancient palace on display in XianPottery craftworks made by 3D printer seen in JingdezhenTop 13 wealthiest Chinese in 2016 Hurun Rich listChina Economy By NumbersChina Economy by Numbers – Dec China Economy by Numbers – Nov NewsmakerCEO Q&A – Ton Büchner of AkzoNobel Chinese buyers circle soccer super agent Stellar GroupMost ViewedTodays Top NewsRecycled metals outshine minersEmpowering professionalsChinese yuan weakens to 6.7690 against USD MondayChina busts group selling expired New Zealand milk powder89,000 Chinese hold assets worth over 100 million yuan: reportNetflix wannabes vie for viewersUniversities push the envelope of technologyChina sovereign wealth fund CIC invests in German homesHot TopicsFiat SpA Peugeot SA Taxi app Internet finance Housing price Disneyland 12306.cn WeChatEditors PicksTop 10 saving countries in the world Top 5 smart home applications attracting Chinese consumers Top 10 least affordable provincial-level regions in China Top 10 FDI sources for Chinese mainland in Jan-April SpecialsHangzhou set for G202016 Summer DavosWorld Robot Conference 2015…| About China Daily | Advertise on Site | Contact Us | Job Offer | Expat Employment |Copyright 1995 -var oTime = new Date();
